The New Yorker featured an interesting Acura advertorial. The ad featured a cartoon caption contest for a drawing of an Acura that allowed users to participate directly with the ad. The first part of the campaign was a 300x600 unit that prompted users to enter in the contest. It also featured hashtags so uers can share. The landing page featured the contest details. The campaign also included a photo contest where users can photograph anything they find inspiring with the hashtags "#Acura" and "#NYerFest" for a chance to be displayed within a mosaic installation at the 2013 New Yorker Festival. This was a great use of social media to get users to promote the sponsor of the event.
